We are currently seeking a skilled Deck Utility/Deck Hand to join our team in Indonesia. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on board a vessel, contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of the ship's interior and exterior. You will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with the Bosun to ensure the ship is in top condition.

As a Deck Utility/Deck Hand, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including cleaning and maintaining the ship's decks, ensuring all equipment is in working order, and assisting with the loading and unloading of cargo. This role is perfect for those looking to gain hands-on experience in the maritime industry while working in a challenging and rewarding environment.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Assist the Bosun in maintaining the ship's interior and exterior.
• Clean and maintain the ship's decks, ensuring they are free from debris and in good condition.
• Operate and maintain various deck equipment, ensuring they are in working order.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring it is handled safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections of the ship's structure, identifying and reporting any potential issues.
• Work as part of a team, following safety protocols and procedures.
• Participate in emergency drills and preparedness exercises.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all crew members.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the maritime industry.
• Familiarity with deck maintenance and upkeep.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
• Valid certification in Basic Safety Training (BST) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with maritime safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Willingness to travel and work on board a vessel.
